Just completed detail and correction, this vehicle took Richie(The Bing) and I approx 50 hours plus to complete!!. The amount of RIDS and dirt was incredyear old(daily driver btw) and mix in the tempramental clear coat hard paint suckness we had a battle on our hands(but obviously won).

Here is the car as it came to us with the "Bing" getting the car ready for the LONG wash and de-contamination process.

Thank God we had healthy readings as rotary woolness would be part of the job for the next day and a half.

5-26-10Cars065.jpg

For a car that was only a year old it had some "issues" (understatement).

50/50 of the hood.

5-26-10Cars074.jpg

After buzzing the sanded area with a wool pad.

5-26-10Cars077.jpg

More wet sanding required.

5-26-10Cars080.jpg

Another lovely area was the front bumper that had been re-sprayed......badly.

More RIDS.

After MANY hours of paint correction, it was time to move along and remove the wheels.

5-26-10Cars104.jpg

Wheels were in dire need of clean up.

That's some fantastic work. For being a year old it looks like the car was used as an Etch-a-Sketch for someone's 4 year old daughter.

Either that or it was washed with a 3M potscrubber sponge....

Great work gentleman!!! Looks outstanding. I did one of these a while back in a dark blue and the paint was ridiculasly stupid. I vowed never again. Outstanding work.

How can someone let a 1 year-old car get into that condition? Especially one that was north of $60k!

Great job on the turnaround -- the car looks better than the 2010's sitting in the showroom!

Out of curiosity, on a job such as this, do you charge a set price, or an hourly rate? And did you know you would have that kind of time investment in the car up front?

Just gave my in-laws V a quick cleanup today - I love this car.

Always fantastic, Bob (and Richie)! You definitely did it justice.
