2009 C63 and 2008 C4S...

Lately I've had no time to post photos from details but these two cars were an exception... both C63 and C4S belong to a member of 6speedonline and were done in the same day with a light 1-step polish and protection with KSG... both were in great shape, to my surprise, and came out perfect... anyway, photos:

Awesome job !!!! What polish did you use?

I just watched one of your videos today on You-Tube :)

I used 106ff on Meg's G110 and LC 4" white pads... most of the cars got just 1 pass but certain areas I went over two times... cars were in great shape to start with as far as swirls go but claying helped a lot in bringing out the gloss of the paint.

Which you-tube video? I tried to do many a month or two ago but a lot of stuff came up in life that detailing took a little time-out... hopefully I'm back in the game very soon

Thanks.

Ivan...

It was the one of you using PFW and IP. It was a great vid. Thanks for putting it together.

Gotcha.. np I hope to get more time to just put together more random vids cuz I know they help people just starting out, as well as myself sometimes haha

Great job what did you use of the tires, I like the natural finish on them.

Brandon

Soap and water haha... the tires were pretty much new so I just washed them well and left them alone... I've stopped applying tire dressings as much as I used to because I've noticed dressings only attract more dirt and since many of my clients don't come for weekly washes, or even monthly, they end up with dirtier tires from one polishing to the next... if you wash the tires regularly with soap and a brush they'll stay looking new for a while...

Looks good! Did you use KAIO before the SG?

Thanks. I only use KAIO if I'm doing a 1-step on some oxidized or faded paint... when I do a claybar and polish (which ever brand) I don't do AIO before SG... I do the ipa wipedown before SG though every time

Cars look great! :2thumbs: What did you use on the rear apron of the C?

Thanks. I'm guessing you're referring to the Mercedes... Meg's Hyper Dressing 2:1 (2 parts dressing, 1 part water).. it's pretty much the only thing I use on the exterior

Wow! Are you really booked until the end of next year? I'm impressed.

haha my calendar is a bit misleading... I got a full time job at an architectural office after graduating recently, so I'm "booked" Mon-Fri with that, not with detailing... I don't update it too often as people don't even look at it when calling for a detail, but I put the busy just so they know I can't do anything in 1 day Mon-Fri... I wish I had a $350+ detail every day Mon-Fri until next year haha

that c63 is hot! got a link to the video that pat is refering to?

Nothing spectacular... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JzyRb30boUE]YouTube - Makita polishing with Meg's #95 and LC PFW[/ame]

I read Pat's post late.. it was actually PFW and M95 not IP

Nice work on some great cars. You have gotta love quick jobs like this.

If you're doing that car tomorow, give me a call, ill stop by, and take pics for you, I got nothing to do tomorow

He re-scheduled for next Saturday bro but feel free to stop by then if you're free. It's just going to be a 1-step to get ready for winter then full correction after winter sometime. I saw it today, met the guy... Eisenmann exhaust on it, got it done at A&L... sounds SICK!
