Here are some pictures of my new car. This is a very interesting color, because it is black with blue metallic flakes, which you can see in one of the close-ups. I don't have any before pictures, but this car did have some swirls and scratches from the dealership, although they buffed out easily. I hand waxed this one, and only used one coat of Meguiar's NXT 2.0, but I feel like I got some really good results from it. See for yourself, and let me know what you think.

I think that's the best color honda ever put out. My 1996 Accord is the same color. Love it.

My buddys TSX is the same color.

I would have some pics of it now, but it's in winter storage. It need a good cleaning this coming spring. Which I plan on doing. I love Winter and Snow, but I miss driving my Xtra Clean Honda in the summer.:2thumbs:

Looks great. Really an interesting color. I polished a NBP MDX and it was really cool how it changed from black to blueish depending on the angle. I like it.

That's a nice shine to your car. I have the Odyssey minivan and it has dark blue pearl paint which I love. But the thing is, Honda and Acura always seem to have horrible orange peel, I wonder why that is. I wish I could remove my orange peel, but I'm too chicken to remove that much clear.

\r\n\r\nGood Job!!:2thumbs: \r\nMy 2003 Accord has the same paint. The blue flakes really \"pop\" when you keep it detailed. I just wish Honda used Ceramiclear or some other harder CC (this paint unfortunately is susceptible to chipping:bawling: ).'

I never thought I would say this about an accord, but thats a pretty hot looking car! They really did a good job with the new design. And the detail is just about flawless, great job!! I'm sure the flake looks great in person.

Nice car - you did a great job with the shine. I also love the new design.

Orange peel on hondas? We're on our 6th Honda/acura and I think most have had orange peel. Oh well...

I must say, the latest iteration of the Accord, specifically in black, is an excellent look for an excellent car. As I am seeing stated, however, there are some quirks...the orange peel for one, the fact that they still come on STEEL WHEELS for some reason or other...

I caught my first look at the new Accord shortly after it came out; it was a black Accord Coupe V6, and my goodness, I was impressed. Finally a menacing look to back up the performance. Good choice, sir! <applause>

Is it me or does this Accord design looks kinda like the BMW 5 series?

Good job though, enjoy your new ride!

Thats what everyone tells me !! They tell me my car is a 5-series wanna be.

I have the exact same colour. Mine is the EX-L V6 though. I love my car :)

I used to have a Silver Gen 7 Accord. This one feels so much bigger. They don't really feel that similar to be honest. I still love the 03.

That looks really good. What did you use for the tires?

I actually used Black Magic on the tires that I picked up at Wal-Mart when I bought the NXT 2.0. Even after 2 days and driving on the highway for 2 hours at 80mph it still looks good, and it didn't even sling off or end up all over the side of my car.
