How do I get waterspots off of my windows?? I tried white vinegar and also a Zaino claybar with no luck. The water spots are only on the sides of my extended cab pickup, not sure how they got there, but I don't think that they've been there too long since the truck was just built in June 2001. Any ideas??

that those water spots are actually now etched into the glass. I really would not expect a clay bar to be effective in this instance, yet the vinegar (distilled, white vinegar) was a good try.
The next thing that I would recommend is the use of a glass polish, such as Zaino Glass Polish. It has received positive reviews here. As soon as I can remember to print out the order form, I will be ordering some myself for use on my Vette. It's worth a try.

I'm a Zaino fanatic but the glass polish is not the best. I would use #0000 synthetic wool as well and a bit of QD to lube the glass. That will take off any minerals or etching marks quickly and safe. I also suggest to mask any black rubber around the windows if you are going to use a buffer of any kind.

Vehicle going to Concorso today, had the "Bing" come out for the week to help with this car and a Maserati Gran Turismo.
This car was in bad shape as you will see in the initial pics, so here it is.
Customer requested something be done about the severe orange peel on the finish, and I explained it can be done ..........but the vehicle would have to have healthy paint readings and I would do 3000 grit as opposed to 1000/1500/2000 etc so there would be enough for clear for future corrections.
Here is the start of that part of the correction.
The "Bing" removing the Ferrari badge.
Compounding the area with edge wool pad 6" size.
The "Bing" doing his part on the tight areas.
Corrected.
50/50 pics of sanded area and compounded/corrected adjacent area.
Pic of the "Bing" taking a pic.
Side panels, big improvement on the texture.
Reflection on passenger door.
Rear bumper.
Application of LSP, Menzerna Powerlock.
Richie removing the plastic missed in the PDI when the car was sold.

Did you wet sand by hand or PC? I've seen posts in the past where detailers used a PC to wet sand and I've always wonder what techniques they used as water and electric power tools don't work well together.

I would have been zapped along time ago if I poured water on the machine :huh:. I used a GRIOTS polisher with a mist of water sprayed on a Trizact sanding disc, and some areas by hand(around the scuderia).
The reflection is scholls S40(finishing polish).
