2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Detail

Most excellent!

Did they drive with the "wrap" on or trailer it? I can't imagine the "wrap" stayed at freeway speeds?

Cheers,
GREG

I was thinking the same when I was reading Greg.

Bob as always you come thru and the customer is the winner here. Thank you for your great workmanship in making folks dreams look better!

Getting wax off trim is rough! Did you use a steamer or something Chemical? I know is required a lot of elbow grease.

Car came out great. I think Chevy stopped making Vettes in Atomic Orange. To bad, is is so sharp when done right and tight.

Thanks for posting.

Used Premier TTR, then went back over it with water for the final wipedown.

It was clinging pretty good when we put it on.........customer wanted the clearfilm off as he thought it detracted from the clarity of the paint, I myself would never have a car without it as the chips would drive me crazy.

Awesome work and documentation Bob! I think that color is by far the best looking on that car too! :)

Question on the film removal. I've had several installers say that heat is not needed for removal. I've also had some others say it is needed. I've have films come off with ease while others have been a major PITA regardless of whether I use heat or not. If they leave behind adhesive you're in for a world of hurt!

What are your thoughts?

Personally I think it comes down to the film itself and how it was installed. If it's going to be a bear to remove I don't think it matters if you use heat or not.

Cheers,
Rasky
