Z1 is not even available anymore, it was replaced by ZAIO. And no, it's not for single stage paint, it's creates the proper bonding between the paint and the Z2 or Z5.
The 501 is a deep paint cleanser and does very very minor correcting. The paint a milky appearance on the bonnet, the 501 took care of it without any issues.
