Hello all from the Deep South ... Augusta, GA (home of the Masters) 07 Toyota Camry v6 XLE .... Beautiful car and looking for tips to keep it that way !!!

Hey Mike welcome to the board.

I lived across the river in Aiken for 7 years.

Tips for the new ride... What color is it anyway?

two bucket wash method
quality waffle weave drying towels
quality micro fiber towels for removing wax
and plenty of time to keep the car cleaned and waxed.

Read the past posts from this site there is a ton of good info. You have to decide on how much time and money you want to put into keeping your car looking good. It may be cheaper to find a good detail shop in your area and pay a pro to "treat" it for you. I personally think the most money and time should be spent on washing. You wash more than you clay,polish,seal,glaze. etc. Also improper washing causes more work in the long run. Best of luck and don't be afraid to ask but do a lot or reading and searching. Most of all welcome to the board.
 
Search feature is a great place to start. Good washing techniques are essential to keeping your finish swirl free. Don't forget the clay. Even though the car is new you will be surprised how much is on there. Since you have a metallic finish I think you might like a good sealant. They really make the flakes pop. :) Wash, clay, polish and protect. If you do all these things when warranted you will have a beatiful vehicle for years to come. Welcome and congratulations on the new car. Ay, I miss that new car smell. :(
