A customer brought me his girlfriend’s car and dropped it off last night. He wanted to see what I could do for it. It definitely needed some time in the operating room with the doc @ Autodermatology!!!

The paint was severely contaminated, swirled, marred, water spotted and in general poor condition. This vehicle had the most orange peel I have EVER seen on a vehicle! It was horrendous!

The process:

2 bucket wash with Adam’s car shampoo.
Wheels and tires: Adam’s deep wheel cleaner. Tuf Shine tire cleaner. Daytona and misc brushes.
Clayed with Optimum Opti-Eraser-Aggressive grade. This was done twice.
Final claying was done with Megs Aggressive clay.
Adam’s Detail Spray was used as lube.
Flex 3401. Cutting pads-I don’t remember what ones I used.
Griots BOSS Fast Correcting Cream.
Final polish was with HD Speed.
LSP was Megs 365 Paint Protect.
Glass: SCG cleaner and clarifying glass sealant.
Engine plastics: cleaned with 1Z APC and treated with Blackfire AIO trim and tire.
Interior: vacuumed via Metro vac and cleaned and protected with Adam’s TID.
Tire dressing: Kenotek vinyl and leather conditioner.

I believe I covered everything. I hope you enjoyed my write-up and the pictures!

Thanks for looking!

Paint condition:

Lookin GOOD. Nice revival! From dull and lifeless to beautiful.

And I agree with mike that must have had a ton of junk of it.

Guys: it was crazy contaminated! I couldn`t believe it. The worst I have encountered to date.

Thanks for the comments!!

I wonder if aggressive clay would take out those hard water spots

Most likely not. If a water spot is etched into the paint, you usually have to compound/polish it out. For topical water spots, that sit on top of the paint, just a spray of quick detailer/waterless wash would be able to remove them no problem.

Great job on the car!

Thanks all!! LOL Richy! That`s funny...it was wrapped...in garbage!!!

Sorry Mr Slick: No, I clayed the car three times with aggressive clay and clay alternatives. Didn`t touch it at all.
