EDIT:

This Denali also received a complete steam cleaning of the interior carpets & mats. Took the before shots, but forgot about the after shots ......... total time spent from start to finish - 5 hours.

I normally don't post my work within ANY forums, but thought this 2007 Denali deserved a little grace.

After a ski trip in Taos, NM, the owner decided to use a "do it yourself" car wash to wash off the road grime. The problem is that he used a dirty brush to do it.

The scratches were pretty bad and absolutely everywhere upon the finish. The owner opted only for a single stage polishing followed by a quality carnauba wax.

The transformation will show dull to deep ......... once I start a paint correction job; I don't stop to take pics so not much for seeing the process as it should.

Enjoy the transformation & thanks for looking! ;)

Clean wheel wells make the overall finish complete!

A couple of 50/50 shots to show the extent of the scratching to the surface ........

Nice turnaround. Power Finish and SIP are a couple products I've gotta try this coming season. That's impressive for a 1 stage polish.

Thanks.

Power Finish has been my "go to" for years as nothing else seems to do as well no matter the finish, amount of correction or equipment being used. SIP is something I rarely use anymore ......... actually couldn't tell you the last time I used it.

"Damnit did I do that? Who the hell dropped my mitt in the sand."

Nice turnaround by the way! I have got to start taking B&A's with corrections. Way to go Shade!

What pad did you use to get that great finish??? :inspector:

I know Steve has the best pads for the flex, what pad would that be buying from you Steve???

Sorry for the late reply here ......... LC CCS 6.5" pads. Green usually works pretty well depending on how severe the correction shows to be. I have also tried the HexLogic pads, but have found that they don't hold up very well after a couple of demanding polish jobs.
