2007 Ferrari 599 Black n Sexy

DSC06141.jpg

this shot sure has alot of Viper in it.. no wonder i like this thing so much.

Is it just me, or do these cars not really look "Ferrari" anymore? I recently saw one of these, or maybe it was a 612, driving by. The thing is, I couldn't tell which one it was. That never used to be the case with Ferrari models. I think it started with the 550 and 456. Though I could pretty easily tell them apart even at a glance.

It's not that the cars are not attractive, it's just they look like anything that could have been churned out by any company. Except for the finer details, if that thing had an Infiniti badge on it, or even a Hyundai badge, it wouldn't be that surprising.

Nice job on the detail though! I bet that engine sounds sweet. I watched that "Ultimate Factories" thing on Ferrari and they focused on the 599. The engine was like the size of an adult male. The chassis had to have a pretty huge substructure to support it. It's no surprise that car weighs in at almost 2 tons!

AMAZING WORK JOSH! I WISH WE HAD A FEW here in roanoke!!!! "I would give my... well maybe not my right hand but a few fingers" (which book is that from? some trivia here) to work on that car!

What a spectacular car. Its got everything you want in a Ferrari, the refined 575 bodystyle with an F430 aggressive look also, and 100milisecond shifts to boot:shocked It looks incredible afterwards. Great job.

The F1 trani really is unique. When you give it gas it feels like a stick shift the way the engine revs just a little before engaging, but the thing is there's not clutch pedal by your foot so it's kind of weird at first......but I liked it.

Nice job and always, Josh. :)

Alleys and garage in the back, looks like Richardson to me. ;)

Thanks, it's actually in University Park. If you saw the front of the house you'd know for sure it's UP area with how narrow the roads are and how the cars are parked along the roads with just enough room to squeeze by....:hmph:

I think it's just you.:lol

Seriously though, this is a unique body design especially for Ferrari. Yes it has a slight Viper and slight Vette look in the front but I think on a whole it's pretty distinguishable.

It reminded me alot of the old spy plane the SR71. :2thumbs:

Beautiful work inside and out. :goodjob

Zaino on well prepped black paint = :bow

Actually the Zaino LSP's had not been applied yet in those pics. I had to take the pics early as I did not want to loose anymore light.

The sealants went on directly after the pics.

I always thought Ferraris should be Red but this one in black looks simply amazing. :woohoo:

You couldn't be more right. The owner was going to buy a red one but when he saw how much better the black one looked he didn't think twice about it.:2thumbs:
