Very nice work on some irritating paint guys! Jacob, try the yellow clay... that's the one that makes ya fly, homie :)!

Jesse, what about this paint makes it irritating? Last Carrera I did (04 model) was actually a breeze to two-step. Has the system changed since 04?

I too find that the blue magic will get the job done when it comes to cleaning up nasty tips.

Thanks a lot - Blue Magic made a huge difference over a couple of other less aggressive things I tried first.

Great detail, where did you get that windshield cover?

Thank you, and I think he was referring the the problems black Porsche's are known to have in certain temperatures / humidity levels. We haven't experieced too many problems with any Porsche we've worked on thus far thank goodness

is black porsche paint similar to black BMW paint? Most colors are cool, but they have that one finicky color? Or only temp/humidity?

I believe jet black BMW's to be more of a PITA than black porsche's, so I believe it may just be a temp + humidity kinda thing. I also can imagine that if stuck without certain polishes (just about everyone seems to get great results with menzerna on P-cars) the job may be a little tougher

Beautiful work guys! Thanks for sharing all your attention to detail. BTW, what's the thin tape you're using?

Thanks a lot Todd. The tape is 3M green tape - it's sold in many different sizes and we carry all of them with us- 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 3 inches. you'd be surprised at how useful the ultra thin 1/8 is for certain things!

:wavey giving away our secrets! Ha! Thanks David and the Twins (TT LP560 + TT GT) should be posted up sooner or later... then soon after that: our MEGA post with over 46 man-hours worked on a single amazing car. ;)
