Thanks again.
BuffMe said:Bentley is disappointing me in the engine department. A twin turbo V12 only puts out 550? Geezzzz, step it up fellas!
Cars look great! You're killing me with the toothbrush, though. Step it up to at least a fingernail brush or something! Gah.
HaHa - I might graduate to vegetable scrubber brush in the near future.

Nice starting off with one in decent shape, eh?
Thanks Scott - I'd hate to see one that was extra dirty. Escpecially one with wasted $590 lambswool floor mats!!

The engines on these cars are gigantic. It's amazing how tight everything is. The turbos must be underneath, because I couldn't find them?

Gotta love that interior.
Just curious, why did you need to dry sand??
Thanks. The car didn't "need" sanding, but I try to sand every car I do with 4000 grit. Using a "broken in" piece dry is the equivalent to using an aggressive clay in respect to marring. The advantage is that sanding after claying will create less marring(contaminants don't get embedded in the paper) & it will make the final finish soft like butter. Much softer than just claying.
RAG said:Wow, that's absolute crazy...you sanded the entire vehicle? Did you take any pictures of a fully sanded down car. What did you sand with? What made you want to get so "aggressive"?
The one before picture is what it looked like after it was sanded. 4000 isn't that agressive at all. Have you ever tried it? Very easy to use and has a ton of possible applications. I've turned a few people from Autopia on to it & they love it.
