Looks great. That's an amazing color. The pics don't do it any justice. I saw one in person, and the red just jumps out at you like a laser pointer.
 
I love the new Monterey Red..Sweet color..



BTW: It is an 05 Vette..06's will be rolling off of the line in a couple weeks..

Sean - it is not really a gel. Not sure why I typed it. It is #350 interior/exterior dressing. Very thick though. Only used it on tires so far.



Adam Boca - the owner said it was an 06 :confused: No biggy.
 
here are some updates: After FK1 #215 & FK1 #1000 synthetic wax (2 coats) the paint is still very very slick and pretty wet looking after a couple of months. I really like #1000

Same owners as the previous 2 cars with 1 coat of PwC that I applied last time and after a wash & clay behind the wheels and interior detail the paint still felt nice. Nothing like the Jag, but not too bad.

clay - a whole 8 oz bar was all used up due to tar all over the car

ssr1 with propel green pad speed 5

FK1 #2180 sealant - paint/windows on pc speed 2 and gray pad

FK1 #360 on tires



Paint came out very nice and wet. (not shown in pictures :wall

Did the interior 4 weeks ago and the power went out in the neighbourhood.



He was concerned with 2 scretches and 1 paint transfer. However the car was scrubbed both on the hood and trunk and the whole car was swirled to death. Removed most of it though.

ssr2.5 with propel green pad between 1200 - 1500rpm

ssr1 on pc speed 5 but unfortunately didn't eliminate all the holograms (noticed too late)
