2006 Bmw M6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First I must begin to give credit where credit is due,

I have never seen someone so knowledgeable about BMW Paint and how

to work with it as this gentleman here, not much harm to the clearcoat as we were checking with a paint meter how much has been taking off a polished area;

A true professional, I highly recommend!

He worked on both of My BMW’s 2006 X5 and The M6

Is that the one where the seats like literally hug you while you take tight corners?

That option is on the M5 2006 not the M6's, you don't need it for this car since the seats

hug you anyways more than the M5 seats do.

120K???? Talk about dealer markup...

Loaded with full options it should MSRP at 106k. My dealer is one of those ripoff goons...

Lovely ride!

It wouldn't be a markup if you knew why I paid that much!

This car is the first M6 sold in the state of Virginia and it is part of the first shipment

to the US.

If you look at later M6's after this shipment, most of them have lower mileage than mine

and already got gear replacment / angle sensors / and other issues that owners are complaining about

Mine so far it only went 3 times for service once for 1200mile service to

unlock the full 507HP and the other two times to change tires. :)

By far the best Bangle design...really, it is the only good one, IMO. But damn, is it a good one!

More pics, process!

agreed on the banlge design, the 7 series is getting killed by the S but the M6 is just sexy. Two things; 1st: AWESOME DETAIL and the color on that car is great, 2nd: is that a scratch in the CF on the right door or just a reflectin?

But the paint needed some care. Sorry I couldn't capture better imperfections. Unfortunately, there were too many of them.

Started at 10am, polishing started at noon, didn't finish wiping down #1000 until after 1am sunday morning!

Very hard paint for sure. The car was in very good overall shape otherwise - Houdini sure know how to take care of it.

I thought I was taking care of it, but having fine scratches and medium swirls is something

I can't live with on a black car especially an M6! :)

We will meet soon after winter to strip everything down and try something new!

Forgot to mention this to you on the phone today, one of My friends will contact you

Very soon, he has S550 2007 and a CLS 500 2005 he wants detailed.

Heya Teutonic,

It is a reflection of the Side Sills with the M emblem on it, the light was directed at it

when the shot was taken " I went to check to make sure!" :secret

Harry, Are you an ECE member? I remember a M6 with an exhaust at a Kingstowne meet back in the summer. Either way, great looking car! :wow:

The M6 looks amazing. Great job. How hard was the c/f roof to deal with? Same as the rest of the car in terms of the clear coat? Interesting to hear you think the paint was hard cause I have found all the black E60 M5's to have super soft paint. I wonder if BMW changed it on the 6er? Great job once again!

AHH now that you mention it is can see the source of the light reflection, i was getting worried. Great car and great detailer you go there!!

P.S. I usually don't like CF but this car looks AWESOME

OH MY ROD!!!!!!!!!

I love that ride! I was fortunate enough to have had one blow by me on Sunday en route to a local car hang out. I was doing about 85ish just cruising with a friend when in my rear-view I caught these 2 small headlights. Before I even knew it....a Carerra GT smoked by me and was out of sight in about 1 second! Given chase was an M6 I never did a :2thumbs: :spot :bow :woot2:

so fast in all my life!!!

There was also a Ferrari 599GTB there which I drooled over for like 2 hours! I'll try to post some pics up after I upload em!

Excellent work! Those are the best pics I have ever seen of one, all the angles are so right! I saw one at a dealer a few weeks back. $106 sticker.
