<strong class='bbc'>Beautiful car!!
I just bought the E39 M5 and I hope it looks that good 13 years from now!
I agree that the E28 is a classic style and very distinctive. Of course I'm biased, but I think that's what people will be saying about my M5 13 years from now.
How's it running compared to new and how many miles?
On a side note, come on over and join us on the M5 message board at:

Hi Chris,
I'm sure your car will look perfect 20 years from now if you keep hanging out here! :up
The car runs perfectly. I am the second owner and the car has 106,000 miles. Two weeks ago I added the only performance enhancements that I plan to: a computer chip and a short shift kit. As you may know, this car was sold in two flavors, US and European. The US version was equipped with a "go slow" chip which allowed it to run on our lousy 87 octane. Switching to a "normal" chip and running the car on 91 octane replaces the lost horsepower making it much more fun to drive. It has about 290 hp, which is plenty for me.
Cheers,
Jeff
