Client recently acquired this Boxster. It was rough. Needed a serious correction...and then some protection! Was full of swirls, scratches, scuffs, hard water marks/etching, etc etc. Purchased from original owner, all records and it was mechanically maintained.

OK Sizzle, you get my ubiquitous Captain Obvious questions
1) Do you ever use actual clay bars to remove contaminates?
2a) Who makes the "medium" clay towel you are using?
2b) I do see from time-to-to-time you have to "rewipe" with the clay towel to remove heavy or numerous contaminants,
which goes back to question one about a clay bar being better or more efficient (IE, faster).
Just curious......

Nice detailing on this Boxster S. It is a very nice shade/hue of dark blue.
Glad to see Porsche painted their vehicles to some degree of detailing-friendly paint thickness.
Actually this being a 20-year-old car that I assume is driven on a regular basis in Florida, it is not that bad.
But that is difficult to assess accurately, since I am unaware of the actual mileage on it or which part of the USA it was driven in and resided by the previous owner.
I also assume that this particular Boxster has not been detailed by you prior to this thorough detail.

And what are those "Martini" sticker-like reflections in the window from??
Any reason there are "few" pics of the interior, other than a black interior does not photograph well or it is non-descript??

Here we go Lonnie!!

Yes, I do use clay bars. I do, however, preferer the clay alternatives, given that they are 'faster' at times.

I don't remember, I have Griots, Adams, and other brands.

Yep, this one needed some vigorous 'claying' as it was full of contaminants.

I believe both have their advantages: I've dropped numerous clay bars and have had to pitch them, this never happens with an alternative!

Thank you! The color is a very nice one.

Paint 'thickness' was not bad on this. It is almost a daily driver, it gets used frequently. Mileage was good for it's age, I believe around 60K miles!

I have not touched this before...nor has anyone else judging by my initial impressions of it. LOL

Interior was gray leather/carpet and really didn't warrant any photos. It got some cleaning and conditioning/vacuuming/etc.

Thanks again Captain Obvious!
