2005 Mustang Help

Its never too late to start working towards a perfect finish...While the wax will make your car look good, in the sun the swirls will still hinder the finish from looking flawless. hmm Maybe there is an autopian somewhere in your area willing to help out with the paint correction and then you could do the rest or just maintain it at that level.

For the clay I would get the gray bar and for wax and I would go with the P21S on that site, or just pick up S100 at a local bike shop if you have one near by, basically the same wax for half the price.

Bike shop as in a motorcycle shop im guessing? Is the autopia store in the US or overseas? I ask because I see a lot of over seas guys on here. I am in South Mississippi....home of absolutely nothing :)

oh, and also.....I have some pictures of the paint with some flood lamps on it.

edit: You cant see ANYTHING but a perfect paint finish with the lights on haha, wish that was true.

Yes Motorcycle shop :) Sorry should have been more clear. Yep the Autopia store is in California I believe. There is some stuff in Mississippi, when I was there last year I went to this place that was like a pizza buffet...it was heaven :grinno: I seen a Wal-Mart too

well, im sorry you had to come here LOL. i moved here from Orlando Florida, and this place is like 1/64 the size of Orlando haha. anyways, I hope I can figure all this out, as it really sucks to ahve my paint like this. It doesnt sit in a garage or anything, so its in the elements all the time. My project truck gets the garage....hopefully I can shove both in there once its running again.

edit: would it be dumb to wash with the Klasse AIO, and then wax with that P21S? Is the Klasse AIO a "wash" or is it a liquid wax type texture?

edit #2: when waxing by hand, what should I use to REMOVE the wax? Obviously something soft, but anything make/type specific?

haha :) Well I was only down there for a little bit to help with Hurricane Relief. I can see how it is different from Orlando...in a lot of ways.

You'll be able to figure it out don't worry! Just takes a little time and the right products. If it sits outside in the elements you may want to look to see if you can find some Collinite locally at a Marine Shop. Collinite looks good and the durability is top notch.

With the Klasse AIO it is a chemical cleaner so you would do the following:

1. Wash

2. Clay while washing or after wash

3. Dry

4. Klasse AIO (Has a liquid texture like Liquid NXT)

5. Wax with P21S or Collinite

For removing wax if you are going to be shopping at the Autopia Store I would use Sonus Der Wunder Buffing Towel, Pkg/2

is the Klasso AIO, the same type deal as the Malco Rejuvinator? Is the size to price ratio worth the extra money...for a half size bottle? So as of now, to try and get all this out, I would need the clay bar package (grey) probably another bottle of clay lube, the Klasse AIO (or Malco Rejuvinator?) and the P21S wax...and my towels. I may have to splurge if it will get the majority of the defects out...

okay ive come to the conclusion that it is dirt and crap on the car and maybe just some hard water/dirt mix. I washed my car rather well yesterday and today it looks like a dirt storm came through on my car and completely undid my work. Claying tomorrow.....hopefully. Will let you guys know how it goes.
