2005 bmw repaint correction

This car was a trade in and it was so dirty and conteminated that the salesperson didn't notice the terrible repaint on the driver's side. The left side was going to get repainted but the owner asked me if I could do anything to improve the finish. I said "NO". I also measured the paint for him and 1 panel would be in the 60s while other ones would be closer to 300 microns.

He asked me again if I would try a spot and see if I could get it look a little better.

Out with an orange pad and HD UNO. The gloss actually started to come back so I stopped and next morning I started to work on it.

This car was the most conteminated (dirt) car I have ever detailed. Claying alone took almost 2 hours. I had to clay it twice. Naturally a neglected car in Oregon will also be covered in waterspots. I really had to polish the glass hard to get it clean.

On to the detail.

PS: First person who came in to look at it bought it (2 days later)
