The owner of this vehicle contacted me through recommendation by this forum. He was looking to have this car returned as close to its original state as possible. The body has had no damage in 5 years of use and was well maintained. Its lowered with a Tien coil over suspension and had a beautiful stainless steel exhaust. New wheels are on the way this week.
With all of the Kevin Brown talk on the forums, I thought I would contact the man himself to discuss the facts. Kevin is a pro and a total gentleman. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable of the Meguiar's polishing products and their usage. I conducted a "hybrid Kevin Brown / Justin Doria" on this one.
I set out to break in the new Meguiar's M105 / M205 combo. The return of the non-diminishing abrasives are appealing to an old guy like me. I remember using rocks in a bottle and a rotary when I was 15 on single stage paint. The vehicle had a large amount of surface contaminants as it is a daily driver, I ended up spending a great amount of time claying the entire exterior of the vehicle.
Exterior Process:
Wash - CG Citrus Wash & Gloss - high concentration
Clay - Zaino
Polishing:
Zaino Z5pro ,ZFX, Z8 2x
Swissvax Concorso
Zaino Z-16 for the tires (new wheels coming this week)
Interior was vapor cleaned and treated with Zaino Z-10.
Windows were cleaned wiht FK1 #425
Plastic dressed with CG Silk Shine

I was very pleased an impressed with the Meguires M series of polishes and will continue to use them. I was challenged with the driver seat on this car as it was showing signs of wear and I was concerned that a thorough cleaning would remove more of the color. The 2004 Infiniti paint is a bit softer than the current model year which I have.
I polished this entire car out with a Porter Cable and some information from Kevin Brown. The paint only required M105 on the A pillar and deck lid. M205 could be worked long and hard enough to get the damage out.
Thanks for looking.

Exterior Process:

Polishing:
Primed orange CCS pad with M*05 to near saturation point
Applied a bead of M*05 to face of pad
Porter Cable at speed 5, applied 20-30lbs. of pressure for 3-4 passses.
Porter Cable at speed 6, lightened pressure for 3-4 passes.
Left polish on surface and changed to black CCS and dontinued lightly polishing for 2-3 passes until surface was dry
Isopropyl Alcohol wipe
I let the car sit overnight to insure that I really corrected the paint and was not relying on swelling or another super-natural swirl hiding act.Applied a bead of M*05 to face of pad
