I resolve to find some luck in 2002. Sounds lame, I know, but I'm really gonna need it.
In the next 90 days I'm gonna move into a brand new house (1st time homeowner) and lose my job with the company I've been with for 11 years.
I have no experience as a homeowner and certainly have never moved into a bare house. So I need some luck in making good home decorating decisions as I definitely have no talent or experience.
I also need to find a ton of luck in order to find a job that will reasonably replace the one I'm losing. The money loss in particular is gonna hurt. I've always been lucky with employment but not having interviewed or sent resumes or seriously networked in may years means that luck and timing will play a huge part in me finding a decent job.
Beyond those two biggies, I guess my resolutions are similar to most everyone else's:
- Lose some weight
- Spend a few days a week at the gym instead of a few days a month.
- Calm my almost uncontrollable road rage tendancies. I do promise to try to not run someone off the road this year.
- Buy a DeWalt DW849 and rekindle my 15 year old rotary buffer skills, eventhough I don't need a rotary.
- Start some kind of home business.
- Have those cosmetic surgeries I've been putting off for 10 years.
- Play better golf!!! Man, I sucked at golf this year.
Guess that's it for now.
