2004 BMW 330Ci in black

Detailed this 330Ci over the weekend. The customer contacted me through a PM here on autopia after seeing one of my other details. Really cool guy and he seemed very happy with the results.

This was very difficult paint to correct - seemingly more difficult than an '02 740 I recently did. I initially tried some OC with a light cutting pad on the hood, but after a couple passes only had so-so results. I moved on to OHC with a cutting pad for the rest of the car with much better results.

Process:

Wash with foam gun, Meg's GC, sea sponge

Sonus green clay

OHC with Edge yellow pad @ 1500 RPM

OP with Edge blue pad @ 1200 RPM

Prime via PC @ speed 5

AJT

Pinnacle Black Onyx Gel on tires

Thanks for looking!

Hey all, I'm the owner in question. I just wanted to say that I AM VERY VERY VERY pleased with the work Michael did, and he's a really pleasant, nice, and professional gentleman. My wife had actually dropped me off to pick up the car, and followed me home, and called me at least twice during the trip back to remark on how NEW the car looked. If Michael is amenable to it, I'll be taking my car to him multiple times throughout the year...

BTW, the pics don't do it justice... it looks better in person...
