2003 Silverado... 12" Lift... Wash/Wax

Beautiful job, Bill !!

Was that Chemical Guys Bare Bones undercarriage spray you used ??

I have that product and it works really well. Its purple color - is that the same color as the Griot's product ?

The paint and everything else is just perfect !!

Thanks for sharing. :)

I've used Chemical Guys Undercarriage spray as well as Griots and they are not the same product. They both work well but the Griots is double the price of the CG.

Sorry for the dumb question, but i haven't heard of undercarriage spray. Is it a cleaner or a dressing? I've just used an APC and then Armor All Tire spray foam. Care to enlighten me? Thanks a lot.

The product I was referring to was Chemical Guys "Bare Bones Dark Shine Undercarriage Spray".

Apparently according to Bill Luster, similar to Griot's version, but Griot"s product cost twice as much.

In any event, it is a spray that turns fenderwells black, because of the oils (?) in it, and it makes places you cant reach easily dark again.
If you clean the fenderwells first and spray it, it looks great, probably like your product does too.
If you dont clean and spray, it still looks better because the product/s turn the dark surfaces dark again.

Thanks Dan... yes that's exactly right. I would always recommend thoroughly cleaning the wheelwells prior to spraying UC spray.

I just keep seeing this thread and i keep clicking it. This truck is amazing. Wheel wells are so clean. Im in the market for a new truck and im starting to look into chevys now. Great job. Truck looks just fantastic!
