This is a continuation of the interior I did on this car...Except this time it was the exterior.

Well today was the exterior of this beast, and well lets just say it fought us the entire way. The previous owner must have been a frequent of the automatic washes, becasue this was littered with some deep marring and swirling. It took almost 5 hours of polishing alone just to get it correceted.

TOTAL TIME: 9+ Hours...

Here's what was done to it.

Paint Prep & Polishing

-Optimum No Rinse Wash

-Claybar Entire Vehicle

-1st Stage Compound (X2 OHC on all Panels)

-2nd Stage Polish (OP)

-Topped with Menzerna FMJ

Wheels etc

-Wheels Cleaned & Degreased

-Rims Waxed (PB EX-P)

-Tires Dressed

-Inner Fenders Cleaned & Dressed

Other

-All Exterior Glass Claybared

-All Exterior Glass Cleaned (Stoners IG)

-Exhaust Tips Cleaned & Polished

-Front Grill Cleaned & Polished

-Tailights Polished

-Headlights Polished

-Inner Door Jams Wiped Down

-Inner Door Jams Waxed

-All Exterior Trim UV Protected

PC....Still haven't got the rotary down yet...I haven't given it that much practice.

nice job! was curious... were you able to remove all the defects? it seems that most who have worked on a g35 on here, have had a hard time removing defects by pc, thus using a rotary...

I'd say I was able to get 90-95% of it out. It took multiple passes (sometimes 3) in some areas to get it to the level I wanted. I did bust out the rotary on the trunk and hood and it seemed to do ok.
