Mighty fine picture!!!! It looks really good. Anymore?? Oh and welcome from a fellow fbody/detailing fanatic!!!

Those were 275's in the picture. The 315's are a real tight fit. For the front I used about a 7/32" spacer and ground off the nub on the arm that connects the upper control arm to the spindle. For the rear you need to use a 1/4" spacer, a BFH for the inner fenderwell, and to be safe I used a lip roller with a heat gun and completely rolled the rear fender lip up without cracking the paint. You can see in the picture below where I pounded in the inner fender(fresh undercoating)

Below is a picture of some homemade alluminum QA1 rod ended lower control arms.

I've owned about 8 F bods but the one below is the car I wish I still had. It's a 74 SD455 T/A. They built 212 of them that year with a 4 speed. This car was stripped to bare metal and repainted the original white in hand rubbed lacquer. The guy that did the work was a true artist. The car was absolutely flawless when he was done. It was so nice I was afraid to drive it. I remember covering the wheel spats with garbage bags when I autocrossed it way back. I scanned this picture I dug up, so the quality is very poor.

As far as the nitrous goes, I rarely ever spray it. I did have a chance to run a guy in a C5 ZO6 though. At about 140 I had about a 6 car length on him.

btw are thoes afs zr1s the ones pictured? they look like a cross between c5 wheels with the zr1 pattern in the centers. looks awesome

A true Fbody enthusiast if I've seen one. Not afraid to really drive your car hard, but the right way!!

BTW: The solid color and the '00 vette wheels compliment each other. IMO the vette wheels can be a hit or miss on fbodies, with more misses I've seen than hits. Keep it real and clean!

Sweet car. An auto for Auto Xing?

With the shift kit installed the transmission will hold the gear till you hit the rev limiter. I end up just shifting the gears manually. For most autocross courses you never get out of second gear, which even with 3.73s is good up until about 70 MPH. Plus it's also easier to left foot brake. For open track use the automatic is not suited for the situation very well at all.
