I just wanted to thank everyone again for all the compliments on the work my son and I did on the Prelude. I could not help but relate the fact that someone made a very positive post on an "auto-specific" board regarding the same Prelude. The shock was that the replys (only a few) were 90 degrees from Autopia's. I've been a business owner for my whole life and have spent years, so I've seen both sides of town, but I found the few replys on that board so completely different from here that I felt compelled to post my reply here. In all the time I've spent on Autopia, I just haven't encountered such smallness and petty attitudes, and I thank all of you. Please don't think me some kind of malcontent or something, I just can't see the point of using a forum or whatever as a stage to vent your frustrations or envy.

You know, I was really enjoying this discussion group a lot up til now. The aforementioned Prelude happens to be my son's. What is so amazing is that the board that my pictures were posted on took it for what it was. Something that my son and I did for the pure enjoyment of the task. There was not a negative post there out of 39. Now, keep in mind the fact that I realize people have different tastes, etc, but when the posts on this discussion group all seem to be negative and intended to degrade something my son and I personally are very proud of, I believe that it speaks volumes of the quality of character and motives of the posters. Or is it just that ************.com happens to attract only those that are experts with years of experience? I'm sorry to react this way, but I certainly don't have respect or time to spend with the type of "enthusiasts" that tend to hang here. I really prefer people that put their money where there mouth is and can show why they seem to think they are so "correct".</blockquote>
