As some of you know I did a 2001 Pathfinder a couple weeks back for my college professor with the Adam's Lineup. I did her husband's 2001 Maxima today with the same regimen. I wanted to see how the Adam's lineup would look on this Charcoal Maxima. To no surprise, it looked great! The paint was absolutely glowing!

Interior

-APC/Oxy Mix on rugs and carpets

-Water Woolite to clean the seats, doors, dash, etc

-4* Leather Conditioner on the seats

-Adam's VRT on the dash, doors, etc. (love this low-gloss/matte shine!)

Exterior

-QEW

-Lower panels pre-soaked in APC (10:1) to help with bug n tar removal

-Adam's Revive Polish via rotary and LC polishing pad @ 1500 rpm

-Adam's Butter Wax by hand a foam applicator (on windows too)

Rim Region

-APC (10:1) to clean tires, wells, and rims

-Adam's Revive Polish on rims

-Meguiar's Hyper Dressing (2:1) on tires and in wells

This combo made the flake jump! as well as created a wet glow to the paint. Here's another combo to try everyone...I think the results speak for themselves :)

Enjoy!

Nice job on the Maxima, i'm looking to get that pretty much exact car next spring. What did you use on the wood trim the woolite/water mixture??

Get in as many details as you can i'm already starting to see predictions of snow.

Thanks everyone :D

Silver Lex: I like that (Teg Man) :lol

Johnny: Yeah, Woolite:Water, then a final wipedown with the same towel I use to wipe down the Butter Wax...It becomes VERY glossy after that. You could probably use a glaze or something for a touch more gloss, but it was high enough for me :)

Yeah, I am booked almost solid until it starts snowing :D

Did you forget the inside of the rim ;)

The rims were all that color in the before stage. The brake dust is gone, but they are stained. I had to polish the outer most part of the rims to get them back to new. In my mobile setting, it is pretty much unfeasible to rip all 4 wheels off to detail em, plus not something customers like this (daily drivers) want to pay for because in a week it happens all over again ;).

That Maxima really looks good! How is the Butter wax holding up on the other vehicles? It has a very nice look, but is it durable?

Scott: The closest thing it reminds me to is Poorboy's EX. It has many of the same characteristics with more a of a carnauba shine.

I have only used it on one other vehicle which was her husbands. I'm gonna go look for it in the parking lot now and see how the beads are doing :D
