2001 Ford Lightning , only has 544 miles!

The towel being offered by neatitems.com is not the same as the CMA Miracle Towel. There is not necessarly anything wrong with it, but it is not the same cloth.

Most folks consider the Miracle Towel to be the best, and both the Viper and Nicsand towel to place second.

I've been a long time user of microfiber cleaning products and realize how fabulous this product is. I've recently come across a new "warehouse" discount operation for automotive microfiber products. As soon as I find the name of the company and their web site, I'll post it for everyone.:bounce

You should consider getting at least two ultra-suede MF's along with a couple (I have about 10) plush to semi-plush MF's. They are phenomenal at buffing Zaino or (I would imagine ) anything else.

Use them after removing the product the recommended way, then buff. Only then, while the finish is dust free. You just won't believe the extra shine you'll get from this!

I got mine from www.topoftheline.com. Not recommending them over anybody else, just mentioning where I got mine.

I did this truck back in July, decided I would go ahead and post it. This truck is eight years old and only has 544 miles on it. The owner hardly drives it, not sure why since its such a fun truck to drive.

A classic looking muscle truck. My father-in-law had one, man did it get to 100 really quick!

Is that your customer's driveway and garages???? :drool5: :drool5:

I love seeing white vehicles (my 4-runner is white). What was your process on it?

Yes, it is

The paint was just extremly dusty, barely any swirl marks and just had a little lack of shine. Started off with a good and careful wash, clayed, then used Meguiars M20 Polymer Sealant on the D.A and this added a lot of gloss to the paint and removed some fine swirls.

I think the truck only has 500+ miles because of the others cars in the stable! Given the size of the garage and the "vehicle barn" there must be many choices. Plus that half million dollar motor coach says "hit the road" in a big way

BTW, what do you use on the black plastic trim (like on the bumper and step plates)? The wife's Windstar has it and I can't keep a nice even finish on it now that it has faded a little.

I used Meguiars All Season Dressing on the trim and tires.

That just might be the understatement of the year!

Bad ass truck! I would love one.

He's had it for 8 years and still has that awful dealer sticker on the back?!
I had that same thought.

Gorgeous truck... nice job Nick.

How could you NOT drive that truck?!:out:
It would be tough, wouldn't it? My guess is, a sale is in the future.

Camo, I guess that was the easiest detail ever done on an 8 y/o vehicle. :D

Beautiful work on this Lightning !!
I bought one new the last year they made them; that Supercharger sure was fun to spool up. Mine was a darker gray metallic with about the same wheels, nice dark gray leather/suede interior.
Wife finally got tired of trying to drive it, needed a bigger bed, so traded it in after couple years with 5k miles on it for a new Harley Davidson truck.
These Lightnings with the 3.73 Posi and that supercharged smallblock absolutely pin you to the seat! You can leave rubber for as long as you want to!

Ha, they sure do push you back into the seat. I bought mine with a 6lb pulley added and a 93 race tune and man, I can spin those tires anywhere under 40 mphs. Its actually faster than my previous car (05 mustang).

Nice job. GM needs to step up and make a "muscle truck" to compete with the lightning!!

What TBSS'es aren't enough. I have beaten lightnings in mine

Love the truck. If ford had made the lightning the way they said they would for '08 I would have definitly gotten that then the TBSS.
