Evening!

My wife bought it new her sophomore year UT and I don't think it got washed very much... if at all! You can tell by the extremely harsh water spots that the paint was in poor condition. Those damn sprinklers at the sorority house! Look at the swirl marks and marring on the fenders! I always hated washing it because it never came out looking good.

1) Washed with Megs Gold Class

2) Claying with Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay

3) Poorboys SSR2.5 on 5.5 inch orange pad

4) Poorboys SSR1 on 6.5 inch white pad

5) Zaino Z1 by hand

6) Zaino Z2 Pro by hand

Next step will be to top it with Natty's Blue! I still haven't tried that stuff...

Thanks for the suggestion Nuke, I can't wait to apply a layer or two...

Scott : your words always mean a lot, thanks a million!

Nice turn out!!! :2thumbs:

How did the poly clay come for you and how would you measure it up to other clays.

Let us know how Natty's came out over especially over zaino, im interested.

I really like the Pinnacle Clay. I use Megs Gold Class as lube and for some reason, Zaino Z16 starts falling apart and crumbling all over the place when used with it. On the other hand, Pinnacle doesn't. Love working with it. Did it do much to the hood? Nope! Needed some hard passes with an orange pad for any difference to show. Good times...

I am hoping to add a few more layer of Z2 Pro before putting on the Natty's Blue, but will definitely share the results!

HOLY SHNIKES! What an improvement! I love these click and brags of not so new vehicles returnint to like new coniditon!!!!!

Very nice!

I only have one suggestion, I had this same issue when I had my Explorer. You should scrub the raised white letters down with a good cleaner and a stiff brush during the washing step. That will help make them pop out and look less dingy.

GoodnClean: I agree with you, it's one step that I didn't take. I've done it once before and it seems that after a week they're already dirty again. But I should have known before posting, HAH!

gmblack3a: it took me a total of 12 hours to complete the vehicle. Yes, I was taking my time and yes, I took many breaks!

Here are some pictures of it beading this morning:
