2000 Sebring. DACP-AIO-Souveran-Natty's

03COBRA

I miss my 03 Cobra......
Well last week I did my aunt's car for a B-day gift, now it was time for my uncle's B-day gift. This thing was in pretty bad shape, swirls, minor scratches, bad scratches. Didn't really have any water spots or anything really hard to tackle. The wheels were very badly caked with grime and brake dust. Sorry that I don't have any before pics, it was a cloudy day and I got started early in the morning, no light at all!! So here you go!! I topped the Souveran with Natty's, per SCOTTWAX recommendation. Man that was a great move to top the Souveran W/Natty's! Thanks Scott.

THE PROCESS:

--QEW (Thought he had a hose at home, but didn't.)

--Clay (Mother's)

--DACP x2 Meg's Cutting Pad__PC On 6

--AIO x1 Meg's Polishing Pad__PC On 6

--Souveran Paste Wax By Hand

--Natty's Paste Wax By Hand

--Hyper Dressing 2:1 Tires, wells, trim.

--AIO on Wheels and Windows

--AA Wipes On Interior

For the pic of the car in the garage: Is it just me or does the paint reflect the clouds so well that you cant see where the trunk lid ends?

I bet it was a PITA to get all the brake dust out of those wheels. The surface of the metal is kind of porous, isn't it?

koko_b_ware - I don't really get a lot of hazing from DACP like everyone seems to get, maybe I don't work the products enough. There might be a little bit, but I did notice a better finish after the AIO. I'm not really an AIO guy, I like VM and PwC, I just had some AIO and I wanted to use it to get rid of it. Besides I heard that AIO is fairly durable. I really love the look of Souveran, especially topped with Natty's!

MongooseGA - I wish. It's just kind of bright outside and the camera wasn't able to adjust the light accordingly. The wheels were kind of a pain, bot not really. I sprayed some of the new Meg's degreaser on first. then with an old wash mitt I have, I washed them with the QEW, that did a pretty good job. I like the look of AIO on wheels, but I have to say that Zaino is a better looking product for wheels!

Wow!

Looks stunning!

Looks like you're pleasing a lot of people :)

I'd like to think so Sean!! My uncle just called me to say he is sitting in his garage staring at his car. He says he is absolutely amazed. My aunt came by as I was working on his car, so I QEW'd it for her and QD'd using the new Meg's Last Touch, man I love that QD. People that have not tried it, give it a try, smells great to. And Sean, I am going to use your Carpet Cleaning Regimen as my next step to detailing. Sean I look at all of your posts for help with things, you have been a great help to me. I want to get some tips on a Rotary if you ever have time. The funniest part is 3 of my uncle's neighbor asked me to do their cars. It's such a great feeling to see how happy the customer's are, you pro's have such a great job!!!!

Looks really good! Natty's seems to add a layer of 'wet' over Souveran.

So now others have seen your work and want you to do the same for them, eh? Pretty much how I got started.

I saw your post Scott about how you put Natty's over Souveran on the RR, I just had to do it. Good call, it gave a bit more wet shine. But my god Souveran is awesome. I have been seriously thinking about getting into this as a profession. But I just worry if I can be good enough at it. And a little bit unsure of the winter months!! Good to hear that's how you got started, maybe this is a good thing!!

nice combo.. did not think to layer natty's over AIO and souveran.. nice..

I myself will be layering Klasse SG , then either souveran or paste glaz..

Looks great!

Damn, now I have to order some Natty's for my Souveran fleet. Hard to imagine more "wetnees" than the looks I got this weekend.

You did one helluva a job on that Sebring, it reallys looks incredible.

Looks like Ill be putting Soveriegn and NAttys on the Christmas list this year. To bad there isnt a whole lot of detailing here in MI in the winter.
