Mav, Thanks! If you have not worked on C5 clear before a jackhammer is the preferred method of removing defects. :lol I have not had much luck at all on a vette with the PC. IMO no way a PC would cut it on this one.

You will really like this new version. Reveals Z2PRO in looks with the added depth that Z5 seems to bring to the party. Better filling and optical hiding of minor surface marring in natural light. :xyxthumbs

I was going to suggest a rotary for that black C5. I too find the PC useless without very harsh abrasives :eek: on the C5 clearcoat. Excellent for resisting marring but heck to get out. :wall

Hey gmblack3a, finally you tried out the AJ and the paint sure looks wet :drool:



I would suggest you try not to use AG to remove the residue of AJ because there is some cleaner in AG that might affect the bonding of AJ. You can try using the method Scottwax suggests, using the same applicator pad you used for applying AJ to go over those residue spots that are harder to remove. After that wipe off with a MF towel and in this way the residue comes off effortlessly.

Gen2, Thanks!!!



I did not use the AG to remove the residue, I just used it after each coat. If I was going to apply the 2nd coat right away I would not have bothered with the AG after the first coat.



Should I even apply AG after the last coat I do or what a few days, thus allowing a full cure of AJ?

You are welcome, gmblack3a. I would suggest after you have applied AJ, let it fully cure for 12-24 hours before applying AG over it.
