2000 Red BMW 3 Series Complete Detail

David Fermani

Forza Auto Salon
Did this 2000 BMW 3 series last weekend and I haven’t had a chance to post pics until now. The customer/owner is putting it up for sale and has never had it buffed. The hood/roof/trunk was so dead & faded that I thought it was single stage until I buffed it! I worked on this one all weekend (the wife was pissed :argue ). The leather throughout the interior was sun faded (green) and the owner just wanted it cleaned. He was going to get it dyed immediately after and didn’t want anything interfering with the process.

Here’s what I did:

Thanks everyone.

I think what you are noticing is the floor pan after I removed the rear seat bottom cushion. I try to remove as much stuff as possible when doing interiors (seats/trim/consoles). Plus you'd be amazed what great stuff you find too $$! I've made several $100's if not $1000's in change in and around seats throughout the years. It's fair game if my vacuume sucks i up. :birthday:

Outstanding rescue you done to the BMW David! Great work on bringing the red finish back to it's glory. The owner had to be floor on your workmanship. Love to see AM products again, thanks David!:2thumbs:

I love a clean BMW.

Ya know it takes just as long to tape the moldings as it dose to remove them.

Mabe I should post a little tutorial about it.

WOW! What a turnaround, great work on the interior and wheels!

How do you remove the rear seat cushion? I'd like to remove mine somtime!

On mine, you just lift up the lower front seat cushion and it pops out.

And yes, on the E36, the front and rear bumper trim pops off in just a few minutes.
