Here's my wife's Honda S2000, 90K miles, daily driver. I've actually just started getting into more "serious" detailing, so I've been practicing on the S2K and my WRX over the last few months with various products, and learning how they all work with the PC, etc. The car's for sale by the way, so if you're interested lemmee know
This time, it was:
Wash/clay/wash
ZPC polish w/white LC polishing pad
* however, when I polished a few weeks ago, I wasn't being incredibly picky about removing scratches. I really just wanted to brighten up the paint, which it definitely did. Today I went back over some spots, like the door handles (details below) to really clean things up.
Z5 x2
Z6 wipedown
Oddly enough (and I noticed this when we first bought the car), either the clearcoat is tinted red or there is no clearcoat. The car bleeds all over my pads.
The front end of the car is beat to hell from rock chips, and it has its share of other bumps and bruises, but it still goes like stink.
Here's a closeup of the door handle before hitting it with a yellow cutting pad, followed by a polishing pad:
And after (ignore the color shift, it's just the camera):
And one final gratuitous "I can rev this high" pic:
