I seen this the other day, a 2ft. Bucket filler.
At 200$ w/ QCs all Stainless. Out of my reach.

He does offer a better priced version. For 30$.

Nice, but somewhat limited in use.
(plus blue won’t match my Zilla green PW set-up :))

I would need it to not impede the use of a PW.
The nozzle should operate 1 handed not 2.
Would like a nozzle to have several spray patterns.
Fill a Foam Cannon bottle at a comfortable height.

So off to HD to try and Mary Rig one.

Several QCs, a 6’ hose, a 5/8” Grip-Lock male hose
mender by Orbit, a wand style nozzle w/ 8 patterns
and thumb controlled, rubberized of course!
Last but not least, an all metal Y connection
for the spigot.

The new QCs had this metal seat valve, that would rest
on the flat inside of the Y connect and the Grip lock.
Actually plugging them.

Here’s a look at an older one, no seat valve.

So, I needle nosed the inside,

Then pulled it free from the front.

Cut my hose, pushed it into the Grip Lock.
Dry assembled.
Everything was good.
Thread taped and put her together.

Fully pressurized, no leaks, correct length. Open spigot
for my PW.

And Quick disconnect wand to fill my Foam Cannon, as many times as needed, at a comfortable height.
Without disturbing the PW set-up.

She breaks down to fit nicely in the drawer of my cart.

You`re still limited by the splitter though.
You can get creative with plumbing fittings and full port shutoff valves....

The GH bib is not full port but still better than the very reduced ID of the splitter.
Just some food for thought

Mary B !
Innovation is one of the key talents that Detailers need - all the time ...
Congrats on your project success here !
Great job !

I just Googled "Full port" explains alot, Thanks.
I think the Y connect is not Full port and will drop my pressure on the PW side.
There are some YouTube vids.
I`ll be watching. Thanks again.

LOL, yeah, I just came across it by accident, now I understand why Mary started this thread. I believe his full time job is also taking people`s money, but I`m quite the cynic, so don`t go by me.
If you are referring to Matt moreman, he does the retail business full time. He used to do wealth management.

This would be an Update

Found a Gilmore splitter, with a much larger ID,
It’s not a Full Port, but should help the pressure on the
PW side. Where I would need it.

Great find, Mary B. !
Volume is what I like to have more of in the pressure washing dept..
You did good !

HI Mary -

Sorry. Never came back to this thread.

The Gilmour is better, but still limiting. Then again, lotsa thing limit it.
I prefer a 3/4 hose and full fort for everything from hose spout out - but this is for rinsing the car, garden stuff, etc.

If you are feeding a pressure washer, it`s negliable.
I guess it depends on your final setup ?

Are you using one of the Y for just a short hose - fill .
And the other end for pressure washer ?

If so, full port may not be noticable ...
If that makes sense
