2 weeks notice-going full time now.

Sounds like a sweet set up youve got. I just think im going to stick with using clients water/electricity for now. Never had a problem in all these years...might invest in a cpl 50 ft hoses thou that wont break down in the Az sun :).

Sounds like you made some pretty good money over the 4 days...and helped a lot of ppl out too. I guess if they ran their rides throu rallyx or autox they probably wouldnt mind someone else washing it at that point :).

I think im gonna just put together a site myself...i did one for my friend and it tured out pretty decent...not a LOT of 'flash' but everything that was needed was there...and didnt cost me crazy money like 1-2 grand...noooooo way i'd hash out that for a website...especially since i just want something simple. Few write ups/descriptions of what i do...pics to go with the descriptions, maybe even a video or two...i kinda have a funny idea for one that i might try :).

So was i mistake or no about thinking you did a clay bar for every vehicle, even just a wash and wax?

So what the difference between your top wash wax (with claying) and an express? Do you still use liquid/paste wax on the express one or do you just break out the spray wax? Whats your price difference?

The difference is about 5 hours of time. The express stuff is just that. Quickly vac the floor/mats/seats. Whipe the dash down and clean the glass. Wash, dry, wax on/off. 1 hour max. Stage 1 treatment is much more intense; thoroughly shampooed carpets, meticulusly cleaned vents and dash components, leather is cleaned AND conditioned, outside is washed, clay barred, wash again, dried and waxed. Nearly 5-6 hours required for that service depending on the size and condition of the vehicle.

Ah ok. I really like your package and price set up...and i'm really considering adopting a lot of it into what my packages/prices will be...hope ya dont mind...but looks like a lot of people agree with your prices and that you stay quite busy :)

I am busy as ****

Feel free to use the service descriptions all you'd like, but if you start jackin' from the rest of my site, I would appreciate some props or i'll have joey-the-neck wax over you.

lol nope i dont need to do any of that. I've already got my own business card idea set up and I'm working on my own site ideas right now as well, which would PROBABLY be much closer to finished if these morons from homestead would have some site building tools that were a little more competent. But in good time i'll have it up.

I might post my business card idea in another thread and post the link here, i'd always welcome some feedback :).

I HOPE so much that i can get busy as hell soon too. What were your first steps when first trying to get customers...and which 'stage' package do most customers go for?
