A customer approached me to detail his wifes 06 White accord. After talking to him about what he wanted we settled on a 2 step detail. The car had some good swirling as the customer told me it was well maintained in the drive through car wash with every fill up...:frusty: I didnt want to take the time to try and do befores or 50/50s on this car because it was white and my DSLR camera has pooped the bed, so I had to use my wifes cool pics camera for all the photos unfortunately.

Process was

W99 wash

OPC on tires

P21s Wheel cleaner

IG for all windows

M105 on Yellow LC CCS with Flex

HD Uno on Orange LC CCS with Flex

HD POXY (trying to use it all up so I can order Nitro Seal, although to be honest I love Poxy)

FK1000 on Wheels

CarPro PERL on tires

303 on Trim

HD Metal for chrome

NOW the beater!!!!

A good friend wanted me to touch up his beloved 1994 F150. It was in God awful shape. Clearcoat failure on the hood, and roof badly. He never maintained it and used it as a work truck hauling wet sponges fresh from the gulf of Mexico. It had surprisingly little rust on it. In all honesty I really tried to explain to my buddy it wasnt really worth saving (178k miles). However, he wouldnt have any of it. He agreed to the price and I went at it.

Although when I was done I was beat. :yield:

Damn, you are BRAVE for taking on that truck. Both look outstanding. That's a MAJOR turnaround on the truck. Fantastic.

Nice work George. I've actually got an older F150 I'll be doing next weekend, so I just learned something here. I guess the fender emblems are bolted in? If that's the case, that will come in handy. Both look great, BTW.

Great work on the Honda, and the F150, wow, amazing turnaround. That had to be a ton of work judging by the before pics.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.

Mike yeah they are bolted in, luckily he still had the old emblem inside his glove compartment. Ill be honest with you once I hit it with the wool I was really surprised by the amount of flake in the paint. I bet when it rolled off the assembly line it was just beautiful. The green contrast to the gold was really nice to see.

The hood still looks bad to be honest because now there is a sharper contrast from the polished paint where the clear has yet to fail, and where it has, but yeah my buddy was thrilled.

Very nice, having a white accord myself I love they way they look all cleaned up! That is a 8th generation accord 2008 though 2010. The 2006 is the 7th gen different body style
