You sanded those curvy fenders with the DA? Not that there's really a flat surface on the whole car...did you do some of it by hand?

I know that is pretty fast, dry sanding is a very fast way to do some serious removal. 1200 made it a lot quicker to. thanks man.

no setec it was all on a da. I sanded one tiny spot by hand along the hood. they make interface pads that go beteen the da backing plate and the paper for this one I used a 1 inch foam interface. it really contours the rounded edges.

That a boy Barry! You spoiled that bug! Look into 3M 3000 Trizact if you get a chance. 2-3 passes with it and it will level out all the pigtails from that 1200 & leave finish refined enough for a light compound.

Yeah accumulator, I keep try to keep everything at a decent price. I make my money elsewhere in the business detailing is just a supporting factor of the big picture. I love it to much to ever gove it up. Im actually looking at a shop in hershey pa i may get and go full retail. It has 4 bays with two lifts, one for the wash bay and for the compounding area. hopefully its in the business budget.

yeah hershey pa is a pretty upscale town with lots of money and its a half hour from the house. I can afford it, its a matter of do I want to go that route ya know. I really don't need all the headaches, but I'll see soom. I didn't commit on a lease yet, but I got the guy down in price for lease and made an offer on purchase. we will see. I'd rather own it then anything, not sure if he wants to sell
