1999 Porsche 911 correction

I was asked to not put any extra time into this paint but to just do a basic detail.

The paint was in pretty ruff shape, but that is expected with any flat black color.

I wanted to clean up the paint as much as possible with a 1 step, so I pulled out an orange pad from DI and my fresh bottle of HD UNO

This cleaned up the paint so well but didn't finish as well as it normally does. So I tried my bottle of Gtechniq P1

This not only cleaned it up equally well, but it finished out alot better. However the P1 dusted like hell. I've never seen anything like it. But I knew the I was going to wash the car again anyway, so I didn't mind it much.

This paint was by far the easiest paint I have ever worked on. Untill I got to the right rear quarter. That was a repaint and it was rock hard. Even 2 passes with wool and HD UNO left lots of rids behind so those are to stay for now. The interior still needs to be done today as well as the exhaust and trim/tires

Process

foam bath x2
3D clay
HD UNO orange 3" pad rotary to remove a foot long scrath on hood
P1 orange pad
P1 white pad
Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite blue pad
HD POXY gray 3M pad

Here is the car after HD POXY and for a change we had a sunny day and at 7pm the sky was still clear.

Both before and after pictures were taken in full manual mode without any enhancements.
