1998 Lorinser CLK...

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
Today I detailed a 1998 Mercedes Benz CLK 320. The bone stock version of this car is very basic and a bit boring IMO. Although I am not a big fan of mods on European cars this Lorinser Body Kit, wheels, and interior really made this car look aggressive and like a supercar. Check out the interior upgrades with the wood trim, and steering wheel. It is a shame that the engine is the bone stock 3.2 liter V6 (see last pic). Kind of like a kitten in lions clothing.

Wash & Clay.

50/50 Hi-Temp HCL + Optimium polish + Green edge pad w/rotary

AM EZ-Paste (No need for sealant, car is in climate controlled warehouse until its sold)

Wheels: Non acid clean then buff the wheels clearcoat with Megs DACP + blue edge pad.

Interior:

Clean entire interior with Meg APC diluted 20:1 (great on leather)

compressed air & Wet vac.

Scrub carpets with APC 10:1 then extract w/ Mytee heated extractor.

Lexol conditioner on leather

Spray Away on glass.

Engine:

Pressure wash and APC.

Dress with non-aerosal Trim Shine water based.
