Recently completed job in the shop, this vehicle is owned by a "True car guy" who knows his way around a wrench....(lol).

The entire vehicle had been re-sprayed and had "Body shop" issues such as nibs/sand scratches etc.....

The owner stripping down the car(Bumperettes off/turn signals/badges).

Someone was using a "Protractor" scoring a radius on the hood.

With a pass of 4000 grit Abralon and some "Wooliemammoth rotary" I was able to level safely, readings were still over 160 microns.

Awesome work, Bob! Not that I'd expect anything less.

I actually have a 996 that same color (or at least very close to it) coming up in the not too distant future; I just wish I had the large shop and slick lift like yours to work with!

My present shop is "Smallness" compared to the shop I used to be a GM at, here is Performance Art in Gilroy (20,000 sq/ft) with my truck on the the inground Hunter lift which was and is "Tightness".

:eek1:

That's incredible. :faint:

Nice car. But then I am prejudice! He needs a Euro bumper, no more ugly bumperettes. It's also amazing how well the plastic lenses clean up on the 993. Glad you did that. Great job.

Looks stunning in those two sun shots!

993s are still my favorite Carreras, great style and somewhat soft paint that corrects without too much fuss. ;)

at first you look at it and think yeah, it doesn't look to bad... and then you see the 50/50's and before and afters... but what a gorgeous job. 160 microns! I wish my Z paint was that thick lol.
