1995 325I - Why do I get all these? (lotsa pics)

Did she rally race that thing? Didn't I see that in Dakar?

Nice job, though. Black cars always look the best when to me when they are done, and that was way in the negative when you started.

Well done! I know how hard it is to get going in this business, I live in Utah and 150$ is about the max people are willing to really spend. She got the deal and you got the experience..............and your name out there. Start collecting a portfolio of the the work you do and save it for others. You will have many more jobs like this for that price before people get the idea.

I'm sure that car was parked in a barn before she drove it over to you.

Good luck in Boise, if your ever down my way..........cache valley utah stop in.

Cheers,

obtw that lady doesn't deserve to have a BMW much less a black BMW....

I'll second that!! Great transformation, that job would have been a bargain at twice the price!

I can just imagine what you would do for $300????.... great job its too bad she didn't pay nearly enough

You charge $300 around here and people look at you like you just voted to re-elect our closeted senator Craig....... I still can't say anything bad about this customer. She RAVED about the job and passed it along to others. I'm still having a hard time drawing the line when it comes to where to stop based on a certain dollar amount. When something like this comes along, the challenge is hard to turn down. I want to see what I'm capable of, plain and simple.

You did way more than $150 worth of work. No way that car will ever be perfect but I am amazed at what you were able to do with it. :)

You did amazingly on that paint, good job! I would not go near that for less than $300...

The tires and interior are a bit greasy, you should consider a lower shine tire and interior dressing.

And even if you keep the glossy tire dressing, at least try a low shine interior one, it really gives a new look.

I tried 83 first on one section of the trunk, and it wasnt doing what I'd hoped it would so I moved straight to the ssr 2.5. After a section of that with no improved results, I went back to the 83 because I can get it locally so its easier to replace, plus I had lots more of it to spare.

As a noob I'm curious as to what you did to get the trunk looking like that? My wifey has an 92 that looks very similiar (beat to hell and back) only its light blue. Whats SSR 2.5, 83??

Thx

hey, quick question if you have time to answer.

First off, AMAZING job, and you probably made what? $20 - $30 of actual labour profit? She better give you some referral work.

Anyways, what was your engine cleaning method/process?
