1993 Mercedes Benz 300 CE Coupe

The owner (not me) is a big time Benz collector and he is actively looking for a low mile 1989 560 (w109). He owns quite a few older Benzes including a awesome 71 6.3. His appetite for cars has outgrown his garage space !!!

Awesome work Dean! :bow

I take it Ultrafina was aggressive enough to take out any swirls left by Hi Temp/wool combo?

BTW, love those CE's, timeless styling! I have a customer with a CL (based on the S class) that has very similar styling overall.

Thanks Scott. Yes, the ultra fina was aggressive enough to take out the Hi Temp wool combo. I have found that the Hi Temp HCL lasts an incredibly long time on the surface and even with a wool pad breaks down to a very fine lightly swirled surface. No challenge to Ultrafina, which also works for considerable time on the surface.

DieselMDX,

what did u think of p21s 100?

Nice wet looking wax that must be filled with some very rich glazing oils. Doubt that it will provide much lasting protection when in comparison to a polymer sealant. Very easy on and off. I would typically use it only as a topper coat over a sealant, or as protection on a car that barely ever sees the light of day (museum time car). In this case the owner was less concerned with long term paint protection.
