Jul 31, 2008 #1 A AbDi New member Does anyone know if this paint is single stage? If so, at what point is single stage paint beyond the point of no return? Unfortunately I have no pics of the car in question. If I manage to snap any the next time I see my brother, I'll be sure to post them.

Aug 1, 2008 #4 heatgain Neutral & Detached Pick an small inconspicuous spot, put Scratch-X on a pad, and rub. If the color ends up on the pad, it's single stage.
