1989 Mustang 5.0 Hatch

This is a one owner (read: Dad) car; 50k original miles, very very few small mods.

Always garaged, no paint work, was "the family car" for about the first 30k of its life.

Got it when I was and kid and is most definitely the reason for me being a Mustang nut.

Nothing spectacular on the cleanup.

Meg's Hyper wash; Poorboy's PwC blue/orange pad/speed 5 via PC (non-clearcoat car)...followed with Souveran (1 coat for now). Meg's Hot Shine tire spray (clear liquid kind) applied sparingly. Touched up stainless tailpipes w/Mother's Billet Polish.

Enjoy...

Are you kidding me - that car is 18 years old ? In that condition ??

That is immaculate. Nice to see someone who REALLY cares for their car :up

Thanks guys!

Original carpet and floormats as well.

Only trim pieces I've had to replace has been the door and hatch weatherstripping.

The car looks great, amazing condition and low miles makes it even better. You mentioned very very minor mods but what is that little programmer on the passenger's floor? :think2

Great car. I have a red 86 GT with 31K miles all original and stock.

PICS OR BAN!! :bounce :grinno:

Mods:

Steeda TriAx shifter

Paxton ball drive supercharger (SN89 Spec) (6psi) (think Shelby style from the 60's)

JBA 1 5/8" shorty headers

Crane Cams Interceptor II engine mngt system (keyboard in pass. floor)

3.08 gears

I'm sure I left off a couple of things, but that covers the high points.

Nice car! I too am a mustang nut and am currently trying to get mine back into shape. It looks like it just came off the showroom.:shocked
