Mike is 1000% correct. I think coatings are great and I will always use them on my cars. I have tried a good many and can tell you that there is no magic coating that will stop damage from improper washing or care. What I can tell you is my experience with the coatings I have used:
1. Gloss Coat -beads better than Opticoat 2.0 which is replaced. Both very easy application. Good durability. More Most mar resistant of any I have used. I need 2 tubes of Gloss Coat to do a sedan 2x with wheels. I had a little left after 2 coats. IMHO people who have issues with this product not lasting don't apply enough of a coat.
2. GTECH EXO v2- Most hydrophic, beads want to slide off more than any other coating. Super easy to apply, you get a lot of material for your $. I can do 3 cars (sedans with 50ML). All Paint 2x. Missed high sports can be handled in the first hours by re applying more coatings and scrubbing them out and leveling with a MF towel. Very self cleaning.
3. 22PLE-longest set up time which makes those missed hi sport very easy to knock down even after 10 minutes. With other coatings these are frozen in time. Looks great, lasting good so far.
4. Polish Angel Escalate with Viking coat on top-Best looking coating I have ever used. Looks like a wax, lasts far longer than a WAX, but it is not as long lasting as any of the other coatings I have used. I still have it on my car. Since maybe May-June and its still there but nothing I am terrible happy about in terms of beading or self cleaning compared to the above. It did look just amazing, very warm glow like a wax. I topped it with white alabaster after a month or so to amp shine and beads. That only lasts between washes.
5 Permanon Platinum-not a true coating but all the same, easy, fast good looking and 4-6 weeks of protection for a 3 minute investment of time. I love it.
6. Next UP-Gyeon Mohs-have it sitting in the temperature controlled guestt room with my other important stuff until I have the weather to apply it.
There are no miracle coatings. And all of the above are good and none are hard to use. Watch a youtube or get a person to show you and you will be able to apply in no time.
I have not used the others you mentioned but all coatings will mar if not taken care of properly. I have had great results from all of the Gyeon coatings.
