1973 Alfa Romeo Restoration Project, Phase 1 10 Hours 90 pics

When I was in College I had a Fix It Again Tony 124 which is a cheap copy of your Alfa which is a very sweet ride. Good work, but I suspect that you could have done that work in 6 hours if you didn't take so many pictures

Sure, the day pigs fly.:lol

When you're charging for jobs like this, it's best to document all your work.

Would have been much faster if not for all the stinking overspray, that is a bear to get off especially after it's been on the car for over a year.

:bow :bow :bow :bow :bow :bow :bow

Kickass work Josh. Looks like they re-released it. Superb gloss I sure hope you lock him/her in for weekly care.

I hope he sends you bill to the joke of a body shop that painted his car. That is truly pathetic work.

Amazing comeback on the car, Josh. I bet the owner was really pleased.

Just messing with you about my old FIAT 124, your Alfa looks great and I know about overspray and I love it to death  .

Great work Josh. I think you did an amazing job! GREAT attention to the details, unfortunatley, sometimes we can only do what we can do, and thats detail the crap out of it. We aren't painters nor mechanics, so all things considered, your work is way above and beyond!

Yes, pathetic is one word to describe that kind of work. Even for $2500 it should have been done better.

He didn't seem to care about it too much as he kept saying for what he paid for the respay didn't expect much in return?? I was like for $2500 I would expect better....he was one of those types that when I was finished, he just looked at it and was kind of unemotional about the whole thing?:wall

Some clients just don't show their emotion and are dry monotone people. Oh well.

Dude, that smily is tripping me up, pretty cool.

Damn that looks WAY better. It's pretty cool to see an old school Alfa, I used to see them a lot in Spain.

Thanks, yea it's a little car, kind of ugly with those rims too.....:grinno:

My first Alfy, I think I'm going to start calling them Alfies. :p

Thanks, yea it was in pretty bad shape. I just wish I knew something that could cut all that corrosion in the engine bay. :hairpull

Wow, great turnaround!

For what you had to work with, it came out outstanding. I can't belive you did that much in only 10 hours. You're an animal...

Nice work!!! :up

Thanks, I actually spent more time on the interior and the engine bay then I did on the paint.:grinno:

Josh, that is truly amazing work for only 10 hours worth of work!

The best thing is you stay focused and completed the job and did not get discouraged. That's what makes a great detailer! It's jobs like this is what makes you a very strong determined detailer.

Amazing work and superb turnaround!
