1968 Beetle Detail/Overhauling

Not a lot of pictures as I initially thought that this detail would take me 1 day. It turned into 2 days so I tried to be as focused as I could during.

This car (I didn't ask much about it) took 10 months to build. EVERYTHING IS NEW. It has a very nice stereo, disc brakes, over 130HP, alcantara headliner etc...

Super nice owner and if the car was indeed finished tonight, it starts the show circuit tomorrow am.

Paint and body was done by SANDY AUTO BODY. Excellent work as usual, but with all the assembly work, these guys who helped build the car are not Autopians for sure. There were a couple of RIDS that I couldn't get out unless parts of the car was to be taken off and of course that was out of the question. Otherwise I did the best I could to make it stand out in the crowd.

This panel looked the worst but tight places ended up taking a lot longer to correct.

The paint was good to work on, but as with all blue paint, it can mar pretty easy.

Thank you very much. At one point on day 2 there were like 4 other people working on the car while I was polishing trying to finish the car. :)

Absolutely stunning work! I love VW bugs anyway so this one has "win" all over it!

Incredible job with it man!

That is some VW bug. The exterior looks fantastic. The interior is interesting -- not a reflection of Mr. Deany.
