18 Months of Dealer Abuse - A Blacura TSX

I almost fell out of my chair! What you do is not detailing, its restoration! I hope you get paid what you are worth. You definitely got "da skills".

You have already heard it, but here it goes again. You have talent man! I was disappointed to death looking at the car. That is the car I want for me!!!! My perfect match! :( Looking at how poorly they treated it made me mad mad

Well, you got it back to life... for a while, because sadly in a few weeks it will be bad again.

Looks awesome Sean!!! Honda paint, especially black swirls so easily......I can't imagine what they were washing it with.

Awesome job man!!!

Amazing! :bow

What I can't understand is how the owner allowed such abuse to continue. You'd think seeing a black car turn grey over 18 months would key something in their brain that would let them know something was wrong.

I'm very impressed that you were able to bring it back in just a few hours. :)

yeah no kidding. It's as if some people don't even LOOK at their cars when they get in them.

or maybe he just wanted a grey car in the first place and this was their way of getting it? ;)

Those are some of the worst swirls I've seen......looked more like an 18 year old car, rather than one that is not yet 2 years in age.

Brilliant transformation - excellent work :bow

I really don't see that big of a difference between the two hood shots:nixweiss

j/k :D

Very very nice!!!!

Unbelievable work.....as usual:bow :bow :bow

I hope the guy is now well aware of how much damage can be done to his beauty.

Like the others said, this seemed more like "brain tumor removal" compared to something minor like "bronchoscopy" if you get what I mean.

My god that was so sad to see such a beautiful car (IMO, one of the best produced by Acura) to go down the drain like that.

Glad you did a VERY fine job. :xyxthumbs

Thanks everyone :D.

These kind word are helping the lump in my left heel go away. My A/T buddy says I have an irrated ligament :(.

Or they just don't care. :nixweiss

I love parking next to other black cars just to see the difference a little care makes. ;)

I hope you don't *leave* it parked next to messy black cars... people would be liable to give you some door dings :nono

I park far enough away and I also don't park next to cars where the edge of their door is visibly chipped...a good sign they regularly bash other cars with their doors. :xyxthumbs

Talking about parking. I park my cars as far as the parking lot allows. If the parking lot is full and I can't park next to a curb, I stay in the car and eye whoever comes near my car.

I'm crazy...

Could someone just help me with a little definition here: Are the radial lines eminating from the sun, in the before hood pictures, swirls or hologams, or isn't there any difference?

PS Great job, you have got this down to a science !!!!!

The lines are holograms. The circular, spider webbing looking lines, are heavy swirls. Here is another look.

Wow, that's a real transformation.

Why would somebody buy a 27k car and treat it like that :(

Well 27k is nothing to sneeze at, but come to Boston, see the M5's, Range's, Jag's, etc that cost $80k and ask the same question - It baffles me. Eight out of 10 of them are a complete disaster.
