#16 vs #26?

How does Meg's #16 Professional paste wax compare to #26 paste wax?

#16 has a more reflective hard shine like S100 and #26 has a warmer glow and maybe a bit deeper looking. #16 beads a lot better than #26 and should be more durable too.

If the car is a daily driver though, I'd stick with #16.

Also, #26 can often "darken" the look of certain paints, which #16 doesn't do. But *I* really like #16 and don't use #26 at all.

Not trying to steal your post NHBFAN, hope you don't mind. However, does #16 go on/off like #26? I love #26 and have been thinking about switching cause 16 last longer. I just read what the "store" has to say about it and can't figure out the difference?

SouthernZ71- You can pretty much apply #16 using whatever method you prefer. The longer you let it set up the more durable it'll be, but on-pause-off works pretty well too. Just don't let it set up for HOURS before buffing unless you applied it *VERY* thin.



Do a little searching and you'll find LOTS of info comparing/contrasting #16 and #26. They are, IMO, two VERY different waxes.

:nixweiss Only first used it 6 weeks ago. Good so far though.
