Just a regular guy
With time many of the emotions, anger, hurt, and pain this nation, the United States, felt have faded or healed. I, like many of my generation (and older) can remember 9/11/01 like it was yesterday. In a matter of an hour, that cool morning in NYC, the security we felt in the borders of our country vanished. We watched as country men died. It wasn't just the towers that fell, but rather a nations faith in itself.

It was in a great moment of insecurity and weakness that we discovered the strength that this nation still posses. For me personally, 9/11 has become a day of reflection, of quite mourning, and a day to be thankful for everything that we have.

To those innocent victims, to the brave men and women who rushed into battle when the rest of us ran away, and to the country that pulled together in your honor, we will never forget.

Cant believe its been 11 years, I still remember sitting in Physics class senior year of high school and Dr. M runs in the class and turns the TV on. :(

Thank you, Todd for this --

I was getting ready to go to work in my house in Folsom, CA., when it came on the TV.
It was and is still an awful, sick, feeling, thinking about all those innocent lives that went home prematurely, leaving generations of family behind to mourn their loss.
It still is not easy to think about this, and I pray that the healing balm of Gilead will continue to pour over those open wounds to help heal.
God of Heaven, please Bless these innocent souls and their families left behind, and bring to our Nation and all other Nations, a healing that will bind up our hearts and bring us back together in love..

I was on a business trip in NY and 5 miles from the towers at the time they went down. It was a scary place to be at that time.

We were in the middle of finishing a 67 GT 500 (behind schedule). A coworkers wife called and we turned on the TV to just see the second plane hit. We called it a day immediately and sat at the shop and watch it unfold to hear later the Pentagon was hit too. Then later the last plane unreachable crashing.
It will always be stuck in memory.

Thoughts to those who did and didn't survive plus friends who went to help with recovery. Now many of them are ill from what they were exposed to.

Yesterday (9/11) was very depressing for me. I'll never forgive those rat

I was in a business meeting unaware and I think both towers had fallen by the time the meeting was over.
