100th Ann. HD Fatboy Custom 112/200 LE

Chris@Optimum

Optimum Product Support
This was one NICE bike, although quite neglected. Like the title states, this is number 112 out of 200 of a limited 100th anniversary Fatboy run. The saddle bags were removed to access the rear drive-train, wheel, and fender. I probably should have removed the seat too, but there were time constraints. The flame job was perfection, I'd love to own this bike!

Process:

1st had to vomit that this nice of a bike was that dirty

Beautiful job. You really turned that one around. Nice bike, nice pictures. :2thumbs:

Thanks Sludge! That back wheel was pitiful. Those saddlebags just unzip, I guess thats too much trouble for some, LOL.

Nice job, that bike was filthy.

Thanks Justin! He dropped it off ashamed to ride it, I drove it back to him smiling eat to ear. haha

Short time for such a good turnaround! How did you clean the wheels?

I removed surface rust with wading cloth and then used Meg's Chrome Hot Rims and my wheel brushes.

Excellent work and attention to detail ... and the end results look great :xyxthumbs

Thanks so much for the compliment and encouragement.

Wow, that was really neglected, but you made it look better than new!!

I wouldn't recommend dressing the sidewalls in the future though!

Nice work...

Thanks, the owner said it looked better than when he bought it. I didn't get any dressing on the tread and Optimum adds UV protection as well as keeping the tires from drying out if sitting idle. I've heard not to dress them too, but that's not logical unless the tread comes up the sides like a sport bike.
